I have been working fulltime at Bombay Philatelic since 1973. We have been through recessions, 9/11,
anthrax and Covid. Nothing has been more disruptive to our business then the current situation caused by
the tariffs. Most of the countries in the world have stopped shipping to the USA. It is estimated that
there is 80-90% less mail arriving now. We will continue to produce the lists on time even if there are
only a few issues. The biggest problem we face is the unknown. When will this situation be resolved?
When shipments resume? What kind of delays will we be experiencing due to an avalanche of mail reaching
the USA all at once? With the Holidays nearly upon us and the amount of additional mail that means,
I shudder to think of what could happen.
This lack of stamps has allowed us to organize our stock. We have added hundreds of items
from 2002 to date to the website. We have also started to list items before 2002. Many of these are 1 of a kind,
We are pricing these a deep discount. They are listed above the regular country lists with Scott numbers. It would
be extremely difficult to list these like the issues from 2002 on are presented. If you do not have a
Scott Catalogue, we are happy to fill orders by description or year.
We greatly appreciate your support during this difficult period. We will do
